European Potluck

Hi everyone! GES is very excited to share something which has been in the works for months: having teamed up with the German, Spanish, Hispanic, Francophone, Bulgarian, Slovak and Czech, CEES, and Polish Societies, we are very proud to announce our first ever pan-European potluck event! Feel free to come along, try some of the delicious food and drinks these countries have to offer, and engage with students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, both from within Europe and from further afield.

Last, but certainly not least, our potluck event has teamed up with the Helping The Hungry Society - all proceeds from the event will be donated to local food banks in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area.

Come along to the Queen Margaret Union on Tuesday the 8th of March from 6-8 pm to have some fantastic food, meet new people, engage with other cultures and contribute to a worthy cause. Tickets are £5 each, which includes 5 tokens to be exchanged for food/drinks at 5 society stalls in a one hour time slot. This simply allows the event organisers to monitor how much food is left and to ensure everyone can get a slice of what the potluck has to offer. Ticket sales will be live by the end of this week, so remember to keep an eye out. We look forward to seeing you all there!
